Sonesta Irvine John Wayne Airport, Irvine

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were clean with a chlorine smell spilled in the bathroom, offering a great view of Irvine, but the service was lacking clarity and helpfulness unless dealing with the manager. The location was convenient, close to everything including the airport, yet I felt uneasy around some shady individuals near the hotel. The dining option was good value for money with great service, but some areas like shops and eateries could be improved.

The location had its flaws with limited dining options nearby and an indoor pool in California, but it was close to the beach and offered ample parking. The dining left much to be desired, as there were hardly any food options available.

The hotel offers spacious and well-decorated rooms with convenient kitchenettes. While the rooms had a slight odor issue when we arrived, overall, they were comfortable. The location, though close to important business areas, lacked nearby amenities but offered conveniences like an airport shuttle. The dining options were limited but satisfactory, and the facilities were adequate for a pleasant stay.
